CNS Vital Signs offers 1 free Retest per patient within 7 Days of the original assessment. This is available when Testing Remotely or In Clinic with either the Web or Local versions. Links to detailed instructions are below.
A retest is typically conducted when there is an Invalid score however it can be used for any reason. Our recommendations is to always, Always, Always Retest possibly invalids. Only the invalid sub-tests need to be re-assessed, not the entire battery.

After a Retest, What Next?
Once a Retest is completed, you may choose to have the 2 reports merged – or Rescored as we call it. Rescoring produces a Report showing Valid Domains when the retested sub-tests are valid. Below are the Rescore instructions.
When requesting a Rescored/Merged Report after an Invalid sub-test and Retest, please follow these guidelines.
Rescoring reports:
E-mail both Reports to support@cnsvs.com – they do not have them. Include the word “Rescore” in the subject line so it gets to the right people. In the body of the e-mail tell them exactly what to do. For example, “take the Jan 20th Report and rescore it with SDC from the Jan 23rd Report”.
The turnaround time is 3 business days. There is no charge for this service. The team has to type in all the raw scores to produce the Rescore and will e-mail you back a PDF. The original attempt and Retest will remain in your account. The PDF sent back will be your only copy.
